The Sala della Balla at the Sforza Castle in Milan hosted the first conference dedicated to violin-making, organised by the Cologni Foundation with the Violin Museum of Cremona. The conference is part of the project "Le mani sapienti" (Skilled hands), supported by the Fondazione Antonio Carlo Monzino.
The theme of the conference was contemporary skills in violin-making. Alberto Cavalli, Director of the Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art, moderated the debate.
