Villa Necchi Campiglio hosted the new edition of “Manualmente”, a cycle of events dedicated to the skill of the hands sponsored by FAI-Fondo Ambiente Italiano and under the patronage of the City of Milan and of the Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art.

Twenty Italian and European artisans and artists exhibited and sold their creations to the public, including papier-mâché objects, hand made wallpaper, furniture made from recycled paper, jewellery.

The Cologni Foundation organised three special workshops that were held over the weekend.

With:

Sandro Tiberi, paper master at Fabriano

Angela Florio, Milanese paper artist-artisan

Luisa Canovi, Milanese origami artist

During the same days, extraordinary dresses made entirely of paper by Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave (curated by Angelica Guicciardini) were on show.

The catalogue is published by Skira with the support of the Cologni Foundation, main partner of the event.
