14th edition of "Biennale Internazionale di Arte Ceramica di Aveiro

Starting on 1 January applications for the 14^th edition of the "Biennale Internazionale di Arte Ceramica di Aveiro" (Aveiro's Biennial International Ceramic Art) are open for the contest created by the Portuguese city of Aveiro

The contest is open to artists from Portugal and from across the world, who are allowed to present two works that have been created within maximum three years time, which will be selected by a jury of experts and scholars.

The prize money amounts to a total of 12,500 euros, divided into: 6,000 euros to the first place, 4,000 euros to the second and 2,500 to the third place.

Applications are open until 14 February and the works should be sent to the city of Aveiro by and no later than 31 May.

The selected works will be showcased in a specially dedicated exhibition, from 2 to 30 November, in Museum of Aveiro.
