Within the extraordinary context of “Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future”, hosted by Fondazione Giorgio Cini on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the protagonists of artisanal, artistic and creative excellence will share their stories and meet the public in the inspiring background of Spazio Squero. Each afternoon, from 14 to 30 September, Squero will come alive with discussions, debates, and conferences, while famous representatives of the world of design, fashion, and craftsmanship will alternatively deliver passionate, fascinating dialogues on themes encompassing architecture and applied arts, creativity and photography, up to the new technologies which are pivotal in relaunching and promoting such a precious common asset as high-end artistic craftsmanship.

Three crucial events will feature a preview of prestigious publishing projects supported by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, concerning the fascinating world of restoration, design and craftsmanship excellence.
