In this extremely difficult period, the health and safety of everyone are and remain the absolute priority and Fondazione Cologni agrees with the principle that the makers and creators of beauty, our artisans, have to be taken care of. This is why two important projects, Doppia Firma and Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future, have been postponed to 2021.

The difficult but necessary decision to postpone the 2020 Salone del Mobile in Milan, due to the current COVID-19 emergency, also involves Doppia Firma, which has always been linked to this event. But the poetic dialogue between craftspeople and designers is not interrupted: it is only postponed to the next Salone, already scheduled from 13th to 18th April 2021.

And for the safety of our community of craftspeople, designers, connoisseurs and friends, together with the Michelangelo Foundation, the Fondazione Giorgio Cini and the Japan Foundation, we have also decided to postpone the second "Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future. Living Treasures of Europe and Japan" to 2021. The new dates will be notified as soon as possible. We want to express all our solidarity to the whole community affected by these sad circumstances, hoping that the time to start building a future that is really more human comes soon. So goodbye until next year, we are sure to see you there!
