The Cologni Foundation participates in the RE.T.I.CA project with a series of activities that include meetings with master artisans, exhibitions, a documentation centre and a film festival.

Meetings with master artisans: young people were introduced to the most interesting artistic crafts through a series of roundtables, guided tours, workshops and seminars.

Exhibitions: after "Blog&Nuvole” and "Prima rata Toscanini", the third exhibition organised by the Cologni Foundation was held at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria in Milan, featuring traditional Italian mandolin-making techniques, with particular emphasis on Lombard traditions.

Documentation centre on the Métiers d'Art: new visual materials were added to the rich Documentation Centre housed at the Città dei Mestieri e delle Professioni in Milan.

Film festival: during the month of April 2010, the Cinema Gnomo in Milan hosted two film cycles organised by the Cologni Foundation under the theme "Métiers d'Art in cinema". The films were presented and commented by experts in the fields of both the artistic crafts and design. The artistic direction of the festival was entrusted to Paolo Dalla Sega, Professor of Management Systems for the Métiers d'Art at the Università Cattolica in Milan, where he holds the Cologni Foundation Chair.

Closing event: the results of the RE.T.I.C.A. project were presented during the closing event held at the Università Cattolica in May 2010.
