The “Reshaping Jewels” contest was launched in 2010, aiming at promoting a new aesthetics of contemporary jewellery by exploring innovative, experimental materials to be included in a creative process based on new ideas and talent.

For its 7th edition, the artists are invited to conceive and design jewels highlighting the creations on display at Museo del Bijou in Casalmaggiore, near Cremona, telling common stories related to the culture and taste of a particular time and place. The contest aims at showcasing the potential of the museum and its works by making it a dynamic, creative space, able to produce new trends.
The contest is open to all craftsmen, artists, and designers, with no age-limit, with a free choice of stylistic trends and use of materials (except gold and silver).
The selected works will be showcased at the Museum in Casalmaggiore and published in a dedicated catalogue.
