Giovanni Sacchi Archive, at Spazio MIL in Sesto San Giovanni

A study project about Milanese craftsmanship, by Politecnico di Milano in partnership with the Cologni Foundation.

On May 16th, at the premises of Giovanni Sacchi Archive, at Spazio MIL in Sesto San Giovanni, a special conference took place, on the occasion of the conclusion of the "Contemporary Authentic Milano" project.

The Project is developed by the research group Design for Cultural Heritage of Politecnico di Milano and aims at experimenting and developing a possible design driven innovative system for exploiting the typical craft and performative knowledge of endangered masters still active in Milano, waiting for Expo 2015. From the on line "Archive of the know-how", through the Quality mark "knowledge-centred", to the Milanese artisan itineraries.

During the day conferences, round tables and performances took place.

The Cologni Foundation is partner of the project and its director Mr Alberto Cavalli contributed as speaker with the theme: "Artistic crafts professions: cultural and economic heritage".
