“Makers of beauty. The philosophy of male footwear according to Santoni” is the new volume in the “Mestieri d’Arte” series published by Marsilio Editori and developed by the Cologni Foundation in close collaboration with Santoni, one of the most prestigious Italian artisan businesses of world renown. The twelfth title in the series explores from the inside the extraordinary history of Santoni: an example of excellence in Italy’s manufacturing industry, of which footwear is one of the jewels in the crown.

On Tuesday, December 16th 2014, the book, written by journalist Andrea Guolo and illustrated by photographer Susanna Pozzoli, has been presented in the prestigious location of Palazzo Visconti in Milan. At the round-table moderated by Paola Bottelli (Il Sole 24 ORE) have taken part, apart from the authors and Chairman Franco Cologni, also Giuseppe Santoni, managing director of Santoni; Gian Mario Spacca, President of Regione Marche; Maurizio Dallocchio, Professor of Corporate Finance of Bocconi University and Maurizio di Robilant, President of RobilantAssociati.
