Up to 7 January 2019 the first contest “Albisola: ceramica nel verde”, organised by the City of Albisola under the aegis of Associazione Italiana Città della Ceramica is open for registration.
The contest is open to both Italian and foreign artists, provided they are introduced by a craft workshop or by a ceramics industry endorsing the competitor's application form.
Each competitor can submit one single work, inclusive of one or more pieces specially created for the contest, with a 70 x 70 x 70cm minimum size, created in ceramic material or with decorative technique optionally chosen among earthenware, engobe, stoneware and porcelain, and varnished terracotta.
The contest aims at enhancing the town with ceramics creations within a new urban design allowing for installations in accessible public spaces.
