From June 13th to August 11th, 2013
Ashmolean Museum of Oxford, UK
From June 13th to August 11th 2013 the Ashmolean Museum of Oxford will host an exhibition celebrating the life and work of the famous violin-maker from Cremona Antonio Stradivari.
For the first time in the UK, 21 of the most important pieces of the Maestro will be on display; coming from private collections, they will include many pieces dating from his “golden period”. One gallery of the exhibition will show a reproduction of Stradivari's workshop, displaying his original tools and wooden models, on loan from the Stradivarian Museum of Cremona.
